Girl’s dress made of wool or cotton plain weave gauze with solid horizontal bands. The pattern consists of a tan background with block printed of branches that crudely suggest chine patterns in black, aqua, mustard, and coral. Short straight yoke with shallow scoop neckline in both front and back. Short flaring sleeves with deep tuck partway down. Bodice gathered into the yoke and the full skirt gathers into a narrow waistband. The center back opens with no fasteners. Narrow flat lace edging on neck and sleeve ends.
