Object/Artifact

Lady’s fedora or Alpine style hat with narrow, closely turned-up brim. Made of strips of translucent gray horsehair laid over with sky blue silk, ornamented with small straw flower heads and ‘embroidery.’ Brim lined with silk; half-lining of ivory net remains, minus the drawstring. Black elastic loop. Probably needs a plume.
