Dropped shoulders with long, “coat” sleeves, finished at the wrists with three tucks and braiding. Fitted neckband of taffeta replaces missing collar. Two patch pockets trimmed with tucks, braid, and fringe along bottom edges. The back is shaped to fit over a bustle. it is lined with quilted silk. Collar missing; possibly something has been removed from bottom edge. SG confirms. The back seam has a crude mend.
