Jacket, Bolero
Clothing/Dress/Costume
Partly machine-stitched and hand-stitched lady's silk Bolero or 'Zouave' jacket made of brown silk taffeta. The inside of the jacket is lined with black silk taffeta. Curved coat sleeves made of two pieces. High round neckline bound with self-taffeta in brown. Wrist openings and jacket openings and across hem to back in trimmed with a single strip of pinked edge taffeta in a brown colorway, similar to 18th-century robings.
