A morning dress of cotton, printed with blue and green foliate motifs closely packed on a yellow-green background, lined in the bodice with white linen. Center front closure on drawstrings at neckline and below bust; opening extends down to roughly mid abdomen, with a tiny self-fabric button halfway between lower drawstring and bottom of slit. Hem of proper left side of opening becomes a tuck running down to hem. Long, loose sleeves, gathered to armscye; bottom of sleeve curves in for wrist, then out again to cover hand up to knuckle. Hand sewn.
