Petticoat

Mostly hand stitched white cotton petticoat, maximum fullness for cage crinoline gathered into waistband with a bone button. Hand stitched seams and deep band of narrow tucks above the hem; hem finished by machine. Looks as if the idea of an inserted embroidered edging was abandoned (or removed)
