Sampler. Coarse linen with silk; 3 alphabets; marked "Lydia Sophia Baldwin Riga. July 7th 1836 E.E. Winans. Instr." Meandering floral vine border, trees, flowering shrubs with birds, carnation, basket of flowers, wreath wtih 2 overlapping hears and "May Happiness attend you"; 19.5" square - original black frame, brass loop.
