Sleeve Flounce
Object/Artifact
Sleeve flounce, entirely hand stitched. Made of off-white cotton with 2-tone blue horizontal float stripes, in the form of a scalloped tier, deepest in back, stroked onto a band about an inch wide made of narrow, tightly packed vertical pleats. Small enough for a girl? Because it has only one layer, it either had a separate second one or was merely a simple dress or jacket.
