"Hand knit stockings, fine, pearly linen tops attached to lacy knit cotton bottoms. Small geometric gridlike design; top edges have narrow finish and the name, “Polly Keyes” worked about 2” below, straddling the back seam. Heavy heels,seamless foot with moderately pointed toe.8” long by 16” high. Assume these were all-linen when new."
