Oval portrait brooch of a young woman with blonde wavy hair and ivy leaves in her hair painted on black background. She has a blue dress with gold ribbon detail. It appears hand painted on a disk of porcelain. It is bezel set and brass may be gilded in gold. There is a larger rolled ring of gold filled metal, separated from the bezel by a thin twisted wire. Tube hinge and c clasp. Pin stem extends beyond the clasp. Device on the the pin stem purpose unknown. There is the number 3 and another mark on the back of the porcelain. 2 3/16" long 1 7/8" wide
