Andiron
Object/Artifact
Pair of wrought iron andirons. Front is a wide, flat piece of iron that thins out just below the attachment from the back into an arch, which forms the front legs. The top of the front is worked into a thick roll that is worked into a protruding circle. The back bar is a single, thick square of iron that bends at the back to form the rear leg.
