Civil War Calvary Sword and Scabbard
Object/Artifact
Sword and scabbard, model 1860, was the primary sword used by the Federal Calvary during the Civil War, as well as many infantry and staff officers. Sword is made of steel and brass. Scabbard is made of iron. Scabbard has two rings so it could be attached to a belt or saddle.
