Bottle dryer made of a 1 7/8" piece of oak with four tapered sticks set into its face and wire hanger nailed into top.
Bowl
A wheel-thrown bowl made of red clay, covered with a brown-tan lead glaze featuring dark specks of deeper brown. The bowl has ear-like handles and is attributed to Alvin Wilcox of West Bloomfield, New York, based on matching shards found at the site of his pottery shop.

Small box with carved top. A medallion on the top of the lid shows a carving of two men, the corner of a building, and decorative scroll work. Box is hinged with a tiny brass flower on the front of it. Interior is lined with blue velvet and an impression is left where something once sat. Most likely a brooch.

Broadside, "Holley Cabinet Ware House"
This broadside advertises Chase Richardson's cabinetmaking business, and reads, in part: Holley / Cabinet/ Ware House. / C. Richardson / would inform the people of Holley, and vicinity, / that he still continues the Cabinet Making business 3 doors south of Perry's Tavern..." Printed in various sizes and styles of type, with a central composite image of period furniture, including a dresser, paint fancy chairs, Grecian settee, a washstand and tilt-top table. The text within a thick ornamental border.

Burnside Carbine Rifle
.54 caliber Burnside rifle. A breech-loading carbine that saw widespread use during the American Civil War. The carbine was designed and patented by Ambrose Burnside. The carbine used a special brass cartridge which was also invented by Burnside. This cartridge contained a bullet and powder, but no primer. It was the 3rd most popular carbine used in the war, behind Sharps and Spencer.

One wooden butter mold in three pieces. The side pieces hook together by dovetailed corners at opposite corners and brass hooks on the other corners. Inside, the patterned wooden block sits in the grooves of the side pieces. The block has four recessed leaf or floral style patterns.

Cabinetmaker's Design Book
A cabinet maker’s notebook/sketchbook is quarter bound in fine brown calfskin with covers of cream, brown, and blue, marbled paper. Original binding. On the front endpaper written in light pencil it says “Chase Richardson, Sandy Hill, NY, 1832”. The inside pages are filled with drawings of various furniture rendered in both pencil and ink. Furniture is drawn with all measurements notated and most have titles stating the name of the item and the style. In some drawings different options are shown such as different styles of furniture legs and some drawings have prices listed. There are pages filled with designs of patterns that could be carved into the furniture. In the back of the notebook there are more than a dozen extremely detailed recipes for various finishes that have been attributed to the cabinet makers who created the recipe. The recipes are in different hands, possibly the creators of the recipe wrote it in his notebook for him. Various dates throughout are listed from 1830-1833.

Two parts: (1) Round form with center tube to create a hollow center baked good; two small tin loops on upper sides of form to correspond with those on lid. (2) Round cover with concentric decorative circles on top, oval tin handle, two small tin loops on sides of lid.

One redware Turk's-Cap cake or pudding mold with black or dark brown manganese spots on the inside and outside of the mold. The mold has a fluted shape with a scalloped edge. It is unmarked, but George Hamell attributes it to Western New York in that it "very closely conforms to those made by Alvin Wilcox, West Bloomfield, NY. Very similar in proportions and identical in the number and modeling of the flutes."

Camphene oil lamp. Cylindrical reservoir rests on a small saucer which is supported on a round stem above a larger saucer with a round handle. On the reservoir is: one burner, one spout for filling, a chain with wick pick, and a chain minus the cap.
