Electro-medical device originally part of a set made by the Bleadon-Dun Company. The Bleadon-Dun Company, based in Chicago, was a prominent marketer of electro-medical devices, especially popular in the 1910s-1920s, known for its "Violetta" violet ray machines that claimed to relieve pain and promote health, alongside other gadgets. They were considered the "world's largest exclusive manufacturers of portable, one-piece, high frequency generators" by the 1920s, selling various devices promising cures for numerous ailments until legal challenges debunked their medical claims.

Amber molded bitters bottle in the shape of a fish. Both sides have embossed text under the eye. Top is finished with applied rolled lip. Blank and smooth base for label.

Mold Blown Aquamarine Flask American eagle flask is called a “Double Eagle” as the same embossed eagle occurs on both sides of the flask. A large embossed American eagle that occurs in the oval facial panels on the front and back sides. The eagle’s head is turned to the left with its wings raised and spread. A ribbon extends from the eagle’s beak arching above the eagle. A distinct “U” character can be seen in the ribbon. Above the ribbon are two rows of arching four-pointed stars, eight stars above and six stars below. The breast shield has seven vertical bars. There are three arrows or thunderbolts in the right talon and an olive branch in the left talon. Below the talons is a horizontal oval outlined frame containing an eight-pointed star. Surrounding the eagle, stars, and oval, in a horseshoe configuration, is corrugated ribbing on the flask edges with a vertical medial rib. The flask has a plain lip and a broken pontil. Eagle - Flag and "For Our Country" Historical Flask. Aquamarine, sheared mouth - pontil scar, pint size. Designs on oval panels, American Eagle: head, shoulders and wings only; resting on a large shield. Eagle's head turned to left; wings partly raised and dropping parallel with each side of the shield. Shield with 7 wide bertical bard and very narrow horizontal bars above. Beneath shield crossed olive and palm branches. McKearin GIX-25 Obverse: Inverted heart-shaped frame formed my medial and inferior scrolls, raised dot above medial scrolls and in the space below the letter "C" smaller raised dot in space above frame. Reverse: Same as obverse, but no letter in the lower space.

Mercury glass gazing ball atop a candlestick-like base. Base is decorated with etched flowers. Pontil mark is open to show hollow inside. Silver luster is tarnished.

Glass Geissler Tube. Main body of the tube is a spiral shape, above the spiral is a yellow cross-like shape with a clear glass bulb with red pointed tip. The bottom of the spiral leads downwards into two connected glass bulbs. The tube is standing on a circular turned wooden tiered base.

Christmas Hanging Candle Lantern. 6 sided - hexagonal shaped lantern, oblong. Middle panels has four windows with raised center, tin frame. Center candle holder, attached to handle, can be removed.

Tin and iron "Falls Heater" with cast iron base and adjustable iron rod holder. The heater is place over a fire directing the heat through the two side pieces.

2 Gallon stoneware jug. Circular makers mark stamp about the engraved "2" which reads, "Brown Bros. Huntington L.I". On body in cobalt is written "Not for boys". The handle is broken off.

Ovoid stoneware jug. "L.W. Grocer Brooklyn" body has a cobalt leaf decoration.

Ovoid stoneware jug. "J. Remmy Manhattan New York" writing highlighted with cobalt glaze. Dabs of cobalt on handle where it connects to the body of the jug. 1 gallon.

Brass fluid lamp - "Miles Patent" applied to the base of the lamp. Round drip pan base; tapered bowl on pedestal. John Miles received a British patent for this “unspillable” lamp in 1787. A bit of a rarity, our lamp dates to the very early 19th century.

Oil lantern made by "Wm. Porter's Sons. NY" Tin frame holds etched glass shade with railroad and horseshoe motifs. Inside the horseshoe "Good Luck" "Patent April 23, 67. Aug 3. 69 June 13 1871"

Birch wood maple sugar mold in 4 parts. The mold creates a 3-D log cabin. Two sides have nails that fit into nail holes on the other 2 sides. Each side of the mold has a brass hook on the top that was added later for display purposes.

Object 2023.28.037 is made from the same mold as this bottle but was an "end of day" work made into a whimsical bowl.
