One printed diploma from the Moravia Agricultural Society. It is printed in purple, pale blue, black, gold, and red. It has blank spaces that have been filled in by hand, awarding James Brown, Esq. this diploma for the best peanut plants in 1885. There is an elaborate engraved image of a farm with cattle, sheep, poultry and various agricultural implements and tools.

Mortimer Threehouse was a gunsmith who worked in the Harry Harrison Sporting Goods Store on State Street in Rochester. In his spare time in the winter months, from about 1899-1911, he would build canoes. It is estimated that he made around 16-30 canoes. Only 6 are known to still exist. Threehouse was meticulous in his building techniques. It is said he would not be rushed, and the canoes were not declared finished until each tiny detail met with his approval. Occasionally he was commissioned to build a canoe, other times he made them to sell. In a 1911 ad he was offering one for $75. This canoe is made with 6 types of wood. The planking is butternut, the rails are oak, the decks are mahogany with a cherry strip in the center, the ribs are elm, and the floorboards are spruce. This canoe is a little under 12 feet but some of the canoes reached 16 feet and were made of up to 13 types of wood. Threehouse made name plaques for his canoes and christened them with names that are Indigenous in origin. Two that we know of are the Wampoose and the Owana. When this canoe was discovered the name on the plaque had been worn away so it was christened Naomi after the owner’s mother.

One child's pearlware mug with so-called "Gaudy" ironstone type decoration and a blue-gray glaze. Mug has hand painted floral design in blue, gold, green and rust on the outside and two green and rust designs on the interior. There is a rust stripe on the handle and at the base.

Small Swiss music box, rectangular in shape, with burl-wood veneer and satinwood edging with a hinged lid. The lower half of each side has an arch to create "feet", each of which has a round metal stud underneath. The front and side have small pewter discs, one is most likely for winding and the other for starting and stopping the music. Glass encloses the inside top where the mechanics can be viewed. A label is affixed to the inner part of the lid. Label: "4 Airs Programme N 1881 T,". Four song titles are written in ink. 1. In German "Der Bettelstudent" (The Beggar Student), 2. In French "Carnaval de Venise" (Carnaval of Venice), 3. In German "Freicorps, March" and 4. In German, "Erminie", Waltz No 1. Gold label features cupids playing music, two shields, one red with white cross, one pale blue with gold cross and shield border.

One music stand with adjustable rack. Part A is the stand to support music rack and is composed of a turned ash shaft and base with four shaped feet. The base is stained a reddish-brown. Part B is an open rectangular music rack with two holes carved into the back to fit onto the shaft in order to adjust the height. The piece at the bottom projects outward and has two wooden supports which turn in order to hold the music.

Necktie box made of wood with a celluloid covering. Pastel green, silk interior. Exterior is cream with "Neckties" printed on it in copper coloring. Decorated with a light green heart, daker green vines, and a small cupid. Box is embossed with a pattern along the edges. A metal clasp holds the box closed.

One wooden niddy-noddy made of three pieces of wood. The center bar is tapered slightly toward the middle. The end bars are mortise and tenoned into the center bar. They are affixed perpendicularly to each other and have been pegged for added strength.

Notebook of geometry and equations of Alexander Fraser, 1825. The back of the notebook has articles clipped from the newspaper dating from about 1854 to the early 1860's. Many are letters to the editor by Fraser and most revolve around the Presbyterian Church who he felt wronged by.

Square wood box with lid with two large swallows in flight, a #9 within a circle, within a square, (represents the game pieces) 3 small "birds" and the word Roma, also a square border around edge of lid, all done in inlay and pen/ink. 2 inside hinges. Box holds 15 small (about 1") squares with a concave circle carved into each square numbered "1-15". There is one empty area so that game pieces can be moved about, they are loose in the box.

One small, reproduction hand-blown glass standing oil lamp, of the type used in c.1845. This is a working lamp, with a double-wick metal and cork stopper.

Tin fluid burning lamp has a tin base . Four tines secure the glass chimney. There is a small round knob for raising and lowering the wick and a decorative cap on the fluid port.
