Sampler signed at the bottom by Hanna Cleever, Aged 11. Dated May 9, 1814. The sampler is decorated in yellow, gold, and brown thread. The top of the piece has the alphabet in lower case and capitals. The relgious quote "If you desire to worship God a right. First in the Morning Pray and last at Night. Crave For his Blessing on your Labours all. And in Distress for his Asistance call." There are gold plants and animals decorating the piece throughout.

Mourning Sampler. Polychrome silk on linen. The sampler features a floral border of vines and flowers. Near the top portion is the alphabet, the numbers one through ten, and the date July 8, 1841. Below this, inside a border of flowers is the following poem: So fades the lovely blooming flower Sweet smiling solace of an hour So soon our transient comforts fly And Pleasures only bloom to die Under the poem is a memorial stone with an urn on top. The memorial reads: In memory of Nelson Stark who died June 3rd 1840 in the 5th year of his life. Other imagery includes two evergreen trees, two women talking and holding bouquets, a weeping willow tree, a house, urns of flowers, a single cut flower, a Greek column, and a goldfinch. At the bottom are the words: Wrought by Fanny E. Stark when ten years of age. R.A. Hall teacher.

One sampler worked in wool by Emily Sargent. The linen backing has an open weave and is a natural white color. The sampler is worked in a deep raspberry red, mustard yellow, light blue, dark blue, pink, ivory, and a light brown. The edge is bordered in a vine with raspberry colored flowers. The alphabet is stitched three times, in plain capital letters, plain lower case letters, and fancy capital letters. The numbers 1-10 are sewn once. Other images are a heart, a large basket of flowers, and two birds. The date "1881" and "Emily Sargent aged 13" are also sewn.
