Accordion
One accordion made by M. Hohner with case. Accordion has leather straps and metal latches to hold it together, and carved wooden front and back boards. Treble keyboard has 21 push buttons while the bass keyboard has 8. Leather straps on the side allow the musician to properly hold the instrument. Stamped M. Hohner in multiple places.
Account Book of William H. Snedaker
Bound account book with marbled paper covers belonging to William H. Snedaker (1838-1908). William H. Snedaker was a farmer in Junius, Seneca County, New York. His father died when he was young and he lived in the household of Smith Thorne as a boy. He married his daughter Sarah Thorne. Account book dates between 1863 and 1867. The book keeps the accounts for his farm and transactions with the Smith Thorne farm. There are expenditures such as "Grocery Store" and "Blacksmith" as well as income such as "Corn Field" and "Eggs Sold".

Altay Handbill
Handbill for Altay's. White with black letters. "Entertainment at Altay / Dramatic Sketches / Stunts : Music / Friday Evening, Sept 23 / Altay Hall at 8 o'clock / Proceeds to be used for repair work on the church / Admission 35c Children 20c Everybody come and enjoy yourselves / Express Print, Watkins, N.Y." Said to have been found at the Altay Store - in the museums collection is a plank taken from the store with two matching broadsides glued to it.

Tin apothecary hanging shelf with space for 10 vials. 9 vials are associated with this object. Two punched holes are at the top of the shelf with a piece of twine is tied to create a hanger. A mixture of curved lines following the curve of the shelf are decorative with vertical line pattern on the left and right.

Ashpan with a long wrought handle, with hook tip for hanging. Riveted with brass to a rectangular, three-sided, sheet iron pan. A band of wrought iron reinforces the scoop.

Autoharp
One autoharp with wooden base, wooden pegs and metal tacks holding wire strings at regular intervals; circular hole in center, measuring 2.375 inches in diameter is surrounded by a gold painted border. Narrow end of base has a painted eagle with spread wings standing on a shield of red and gold stripes and stars on a blue background. At widest end, the string pitches (key signatures) are painted on a band of gold along with corresponding string numbers. The chord buttons are missing from the chord bar.
Baking Pan
One round tinplated baking dish with two finger loops, one on each side of the rim. The sides are made of three pieces of tin and the bottom made of one. Edge of rim is of a rolled wire construction.

Reproduction. Tin baking pan. This replica made specifically to become part of the retail stock at Altay Store. Style of object represents period of from 1835-1855. The letter "B" impressed on the bottom is the initial of Bob Betz the tinsmith who made it.

Scale. Green with three gold-painted, arrow-shaped finials, a fluted column and a step-down base. Balance bar, also with arrow-shaped ends, supports two trays suspended on bale frames.

Bass Drum
A bentwood bass drum. The drum is a painted a dark red and features a large eagle carrying a banner in its beak that says "Pembroke Brass Band". There is a shield or coat of arms on its chest with red and white stripes surrounded by a gold floral design. In one talon it carries a branch and in the other arrows. Inside the drum it says "Made and Sold by Calvin Edwards, Gorham". The heads were once stretched animal hide but as these were cracked it was replaced by canvas. This drum was used in the Pembroke Brass Band in Pembroke, Maine.

Large woven baby bed. Large splint basket, painted yellow. Sits on wooden frame with turned legs. 1 1/2" wide warp woven with 1/4" wide splint - ash or oak.

Bath brick used for cleaning. Brick could be scraped to form a scrubbing powder.

Four turned maple posts, a shaped headboard and foot board with side rails drilled for ropes.
